אָת, אַת, אָתָאI, אַתְוָא c. (= b. h. אוֹת; fr. תאה, or תאו, sec. r. of אה or או; as to reject. of radical ו or ה, cmp. אב, אח ) sign, type; letter (v. אוֹת II). Targ. Ex. 13:16; a. fr.Targ.
